European Lakes and Alps
Lake Annecy, France
This is a trip that was filled with breathtaking places but that I wish I could redo again because while there were some amazing moments, I was really struggling with depression at the time of taking this trip. It was hard to feel pretty crappy in a place that I’d always wanted to go and that was so beautiful. I’d always wanted to visit Lake Como in Italy and it was stunning but also stressful and not a lot of fun with crowds and heat and pretty much impossible to access the water to swim or to get a seat on very overcrowded ferries. So I think I would plan this differently if we did it again. But it was so lovely so maybe we’ll try again one day and revisit.
