Art For Floods
#Artforfloods is the follow-on fundraiser from the successful Artforbales campaigns run in 2018 and 2019 by Kate Pittas and Andrea Hamann. Artforbales supported the art community in raising over $160,000 for drought relief.
Moved by the current 2022 national flood disaster, #Artforfloods aims to raise funds for three charities supporting flood relief.
This is a volunteer campaign run by the #artforbales team Kate and Andrea in their spare time, with support from emerging and professional artists around Australia.
#Artforfloods provides a platform for artists & buyers to connect and donate to charity.
*Artforfloods is NOT a registered charity. Buyers coordinate payment with each artist directly plus postage and 100% of the artwork cost is donated by the artist to one of three charities selected by Art for Floods
I am donating Straddie Gorge - Oil on Timber Board. Inspired by the laid back gorgeousness of Stradbroke Island and the famous gorge walk. 30 by 23cm oil on board with thick sides so that this piece can be hung on a wall to add to a cluster of artworks or freestanding on a shelf. $250 + $15 postage within Australia.
