Home at Cedar Creek

This is our rainforest home at Cedar Creek. 16 years ago we went for a weekend drive and came across this area and fell in love with the beautiful bush and rainforest surrounds, enormous granite boulders and mountains. At the time we were all set to renovate and lift our very first house - a Queenslander at Banyo on a terribly noisy road. At the time our twins were only three and it was daunting to consider moving so far out of the city and suburbs and the potential commute.

But it proved to be the right move and home has always felt like such a haven (although the driving has gotten painful at times!). Just before covid struck we did quite a bit reno - opening the house up to be as light as possible. Most of the greenery and flowers I bring into our psychology clinics comes from our garden.
